Angel Kids is seeking a full-time ARNP/PA, to join our team located at one of our pediatric clinics in Jacksonville. They will work under the supervision of physicians to plan, evaluate, and provide care.
This position is responsible for providing advanced nursing care to newborns, children, and adolescents.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- In a physician’s office setting performs duties including but not limited to promoting healthy habits and proven practices for preventive care.
- Exhibits a high degree of courtesy, tact, and poise when interacting with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
- Participates in quality improvement and utilization review activities.
- Recording comprehensive health stories
- Ordering and interpreting laboratory and diagnostic tests
- Establishing treatment plans
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Master’s Degree in nursing from an accredited school of nursing
- Must possess a current Florida license
- Minimum of two years of Pediatric experience.
- Demonstrated competence in reacting to and handling emergencies.
- Able to work collaboratively with multiple health professionals in a busy and complex environment using tact, diplomacy, and discipline.
- Strong charting/documentation skills.
- Ability to understand and adhere to established policies, procedures, and protocols.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills
- Ability to manage priorities and workflow
- Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm
